“The circle is now complete, pugh-psch.”

For Christmas, I got my bro a Lego motorized walking Star Wars ATAT- little did I know it was so complex to build, the instructions spanned 3 (Three) instruction manuals! So needless to say it wasn’t completed during our stay, but I have been rewarded for his work by a hilarious storyboard full of Star Wars in-jokes. Thanks Scott, that was great:

Bryce McGlone made a lego scupture of a classic HR Giger painting.

LEGO Universe: ‘LEGO Star Wars Multiplied By A Million’

So. Lego Massive Multplayer Online game. Where you can build your own lego creations, and then go play amongst them. With other people. And then order the sets you created as real-life lego set. I swear I’m interested purely for Bennet’s sake.

but to be fair, i would miss that particular sound of rummaging about for that one peice in the bin.

50 Years of the Lego Brick!

Happy Birthday, Lego! 50 Years ago, they done made them a patent for the first bricky brick.

You probably know Milena works for Lego.. and man, that’s really neat for me because that was the longest running favorite toy– come to think of it, I *STILL* love the hell out of playing with Legos! I can’t deny! I get just as much pleasure creating robots and space ships as I did when I was a kid!

And I ain’t the only one!

Ah, so many memories.. ..well maybe not all of them good (*coughcoughcallahan rearranging the minifigures in my vignettes to all be engaging in buggerycough*)

Yay Legos

You know, Milena brought me some Legos as a reward for finishing some stuff for the Crums , and I’ll be damned if thy aren’t just as much magic now as they were 20 years ago! except now I feel Self-Conscious when I want to play with the creation afterwards and Milena’s looking. So this is the artwork I did (aside from the annual corn-maze, as well) and I want to say I’m rather proud of this picture- especially the rope! hahah, no I’m serious, it took me 3 hours to learn how to make the rope in Illustrator, as a pattern brush, and then like 30 seconds to actually draw the rope, and let illustrator follow my line with my rope design- replete with frayed edges!
