“The circle is now complete, pugh-psch.”

For Christmas, I got my bro a Lego motorized walking Star Wars ATAT- little did I know it was so complex to build, the instructions spanned 3 (Three) instruction manuals! So needless to say it wasn’t completed during our stay, but I have been rewarded for his work by a hilarious storyboard full of Star Wars in-jokes. Thanks Scott, that was great:

Mattias Inks: Star Wars, the baroque version

Now that the big day is past, I found someting for my StarWars lovin’ brother. He ain’t a geeky fanboy in general, but nigga do love his Star Wars. For teh Xmas, I found this AMAZING popup book in some big ol bookstore, it is the HNIC of awesome pop-up books, on top of being SW regalia to boot. Sorry Catherine, Daddy won’t let you play with that one for a while. I came across some great Star Wars semi-fan-art creations, Baroque Star Wars. Putting the ‘long time ago’ back into a galaxy far away, I bought a print for Scott’s birthday, hope he likes it. I think it’d go well as a children’s illustration. I like seeing people reinvent classics into newer forms, that’s like getting an honorary Phoenix rebirth.
